Prizes for the 2010 Contest

Prizes for this year's contest are still being determined, but you can take a look at last year's prizes to get a sense for what we'll be offering!

Grand Prizes from the 2009 Contest

Grand Prizes (1st through 3rd) will be chosen from the winners of the Theme Awards:

First Place Grand Prize: Xbox 360 Live, assorted EA Games and $500.

Second Place Grand Prize: Gift card valued at $250.

Third Place Grand Prize: Gift card valued at $150.

Theme Prizes from the 2009 Contest

Theme Award Winners will be chosen from the top three entries in each category:

Arts- DMCA Digital Art Award: An ultra-light portable LCD projector.

Business & Entrepreneurship- YEI Digital Innovation Award: Up to $2500 toward software programming expenses, and introduction to candidate software programmers.

Education- CMI2 Education Award: Will work with the winner to identify faculty members who would be interested in integrating the winning idea into future course offerings of a Yale College. The winner will also receive a new 8GB iPod Nano.

General- Office of Digital Dissemination Award: A 16GB iPod Touch.

Sustainability- Office of Sustainability Award: The top three submissions will have their work incorporated into the Yale Peabody Museum’s upcoming Sustainable Solutions exhibit as well as featured on the Office of Sustainability’s website.
